		<title>Save The Gate</title>
		<link>http://gothambaseballmagazine.com/yankees/save-the-gate.html</link>
		<description>On June 30th at Foley’s NY, please join me as I host a very special Baseball Digest LIVE, hoping to help the most incredible group of baseball fans I have met to date. (http://www.savetheyankeegate2.com)
Far be it from me to try to articulate what these fine folks are
trying to accomplish. Instead, here are the words from Chris Jones,
Yankee fan and member of the Save The Gate committee:</description>

		<title>DEM BROOKLYN BUMS: John Servidio</title>
		<link>http://gothambaseballmagazine.com/mets/dem-brooklyn-bums-john-servidio.html</link>
		<description>
After injuring his hand last season and missing the rest of his
rookie campaign in Brooklyn, Cyclones outfielder John Servidio is ready
to have the best season of his career. A fan favorite due to his hard-nosed work ethic and mega-watt smile,
the 23-year-old is looking forward to getting an opportunity to show
what he can do in a starting role, something he lost last season after
the Cyclones brought in Sean Ratliff and Seth Williams to add depth to
the outfield.

		<title>The New York Mets: Legion Of Gloom</title>
		<link>http://gothambaseballmagazine.com/mets/the-new-york-mets-legion-of-gloom.html</link>
		<description>
Usually, the regular season Subway Series matchups are a huge event. This season, however, the hype that is often found in these games took a back seat to each team's struggles against division rivals. Taking two of three from the Mets was a positive result for the Yankees, but anyone who watched the series knows the Bombers have a lot of work in front of them. The Mets? They face a stretch of games over the next several weeks that may determine the rest of their season, and perhaps, the fate of the franchise. So, yeah, the Interleague Subway Series wasn't that much of a story.

During his playing career, Bernie Williams was a superb athlete, classy individual and meticulous in his dealing with media, teammates and fans alike. Now that he has embarked on a remerkable musical career, he still has the same approach.

		<title>Baby Bombers To Watch</title>
		<link>http://gothambaseballmagazine.com/yankees/baby-bombers-to-watch.html</link>
		<description>Major League organizations have deep strategies to develop their
players, and usually being cut from Spring is less of “a rejection” and
more of “just another step in the process”. The New York Yankees have
a deep farm system and many talented players who have been sent back
down already, but surely the team has plans to turn these players into
bona fide Major Leaguers. My reviews are by no means complete; just a dabbling of players to watch out for.

		<title>Starting Five</title>
		<link>http://gothambaseballmagazine.com/mets/starting-five.html</link>
		<description>The New York's recipe for success is simple; their starting five have
to perform in the roles thay are cast in. No, I'm not talking about
the rotation, which is extremely important, I'm talking about the
core. The group that was not dismantled after two straight poor
finishes. The must perform for this team to outlast the Phillies,
Braves and yes, Marlins.

		<description>
As the Mets 2008 season came to a close, most thought it was a foregone
conclusion that Jonathan Niese would be handed the job as the team’s
fifth starter. Pedro Martinez was a free agent and the chances of him
returning appeared to be slim-to-none (which turned out to be the
case). The other young pitcher’s who could compete, Bobby Parnell
(better off in bullpen?) and Bradley Holt (lack of experience?), had
significant questions surrounding them, leaving little competition.

		<description>
There are literally millions of fans that have spent their summers re-telling their most memorable moments at Yankee Stadium. This year, more than ever, our ears have been open even wider to hear tales of DiMaggio, Ruth, Gehrig and more. On Friday's Live From Mickey Mantle's , we'll get to hear from Frank Prudente, the author of Memories Of A Yankee Batboy: 1956-61. (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Gotham-Sports-Media/2008/10/10/Memories-Of-Yankee-Stadium-Frank-Prudente) Those were truly the glory days of Yankee Stadium, a era of Mantle, Maris, Yogi and Whitey.

		<title>Mets Need Sheets</title>
		<link>http://gothambaseballmagazine.com/mets/mets-need-sheets.html</link>
		<description>
I know it may seem like odd timing, especially with the news coming out
that the Mets are giving Oliver Perez the full-court press to come to
terms sooner rather then later, but with Freddy Garcia now under
contract it seems like the perfect time for the Mets to call an
audible. No, I’m not suggesting putting the rotation on the back
burner, instead focusing on Manny Ramirez or Adam Dunn (though, an
improvement to the line-up should be in order as well). Instead, I
think the Mets should go out with the old and in with the new. I think
now is the perfect time to make a push to sign Ben Sheets
