(Editor's Note) Marty Appel wears a lot of hats.  In addition to being the owner and President of Marty Appel Public Relations, he is one of the finest baseball authors working today.  To my greatest delight, he also serves as a Senior Editor for Gotham Baseball Magazine.  He is currently at Cooperstown for this weekend's Hall Of Fame induction ceremonies, so I thought it fitting to share this article by Marty on one of this weekend's inductees; former MLB Commissioner Bowie Kuhn (left).  He worked with the late Kuhn in the former commish's 1987 memoir, "Hardball: The Education of a Baseball Commissioner."   - MH The following was published in Vintage Books Sports Collectors Digest, July 2007.
